Transforming Lives Through Boating Education

We believe in educating America's youth, families and communities while providing the skills and learning paths for their future.

America’s Premier Youth Boating Education Programs

Empowering Students and Connecting Communities through Adventure while Promoting Confidence and Lifelong Skills

Spirit of America blends the excitement of safe boating with hands‑on learning that helps young people grow, mature, and believe in themselves. Every program is designed to spark confidence, curiosity, and hope by celebrating each child’s unique strengths while challenging them to rise to new opportunities. Our programs are designed to teach children from a variety of backgrounds and can be modified to each child’s individual learning needs. “We teach the way our children learn.”

Our flagship middle‑school programs combine on‑the‑water experience, classroom learning, and real-life responsibility. Participants gain practical skills, learn to look out for their shipmates, and discover the joy of lifelong recreation that protects and respects our natural environment. Guided by some of the nation’s finest instructors, students leave with knowledge and confidence that lasts far beyond the shoreline.
